I had some Yogi green tea with breakfast this morning, I love how Yogi has the little sayings on the tea tags!
Breakfast started out basically same as yesterday because it was so delish, I couldn't wait to have it again, and I still had oat groats left from the big pot I made earlier in the week. Once again, they were ah-mazing! I took lots of pics because I just thought they were pretty
One before toppings with just some choc almond milk

After adding ground flax, 1/2 nanner, some blueberries and ABU

One just for fun with Halo Kitty in the background checking things out — she looks annoyed, she's like "why are you taking so many pictures of your oats again, you weirdo?"

Sorry if I seem overly excited about oats, it's just that I haven't had them in a really long time because of the gluten thing, and I was ecstatic to find out that I could have oat groats, so I'm sure the new will wear off soon and I won't be taking eleventy billion pictures of them, but for now, I am in love.

Apparently we are mushroom farmers now, we had this little crop of mushrooms come up in our yard (I'm sure they're poisonous, or I'd chop those bad boys up in some pasta LoL) So anyway, these darn things like triple in size every day, it's crazy to watch them grow, so I took some pics this morning.

Look, this big one is taking over that little one, they're out of control! The weird things is, ours is the only yard on the block that has these things! when I got home from work this evening, the husband had plucked them and threw them out, I was a little sad, I was hoping to see how big they would get!
I packed a pretty yummy lunch today here's the spread:

baby green salad with grapes, black olives, cucumber, goat cheese (LOVES IT!) and I took some avocado to chop on top and some Annie's balsamic.

I also took some lovely fruit for snacking and a Think Green blueberry noni bar, these are pretty tasty, kind of reminded me of a blueberry muffin.

My little lunch bag was so full I almost couldn't get it zipped!

So the other day I saw this great Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore recipe on the Fitnessista's blog that she made for her pilot, and I thought it looked super easy, and since I had the ingredients on hand, I thought I would make it for the husband and that way he could come home to a nice dinner, and I could hit the gym!
I seared two chicken breasts in a little olive oil and seasoned with s/p, then I put them in the slow cooker, topped them with a whole container of sliced mushrooms (from the store, not from our yard LoL) some chopped celery and onions and stuck it all in the fridge over night, then this morning I just popped it into the slow cooker and let it cook all day on low.

I served it on top of some left over rice from Monday night's dinner

He loved it!
I had a bite, it was pretty yummy! So since I did two chicken breasts, I just popped the other one in some tupperware for his lunch tomorrow, how much easier does it get? I think I am about to make good friends with the slow cooker!
After my workout, I came home and was feeling the need for some major protein, so I made this:

A banana protein shake/smoothie (not sure which one) It was sooo good though, it had half a frozen banana, US coconut Milk, a few pieces of frozen mixed fruit, 1 whole scoop vanilla protein powder and a couple piece of ice. It was amazing, it really hit the spot after my workout! It tasted just like a really good banana milk shake!
I also made an egg white scramble with a little spinach, some diced avocado and some goat cheese, and ate that with some Mary's crackers, I also made a half of a sunshine burger, but halfway through my meal realized I was getting VERY full, so I put it up for tomorrow's lunch or dinner.
Also, somebody got her workout groove back...
It's meeeee! Yes, I am so happy I had an absolutely fabulous workout today, it didn't feel forced, it felt wonderful, I got a really good pump with my weight workout, then I did 30 min of cardio and it felt soooo good to burn some calories and sweat!! I also found out that my gym is starting a boot camp on week nights beginning next week, and since I was wanting to switch things up anyway, I think I'm going to give it a try, we'll see how it goes, I've never done a bootcamp before. Has anyone else ever participated in one of these type of programs? Just curious.

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for the nice compliment. I am glad you liked the post. Along with pilates, I also do kickboxing, strength training and pushups, all different variations of them. Which exercises are you currently doing for your shoulders? I will have to try coconut water. Thanks.
Bootcamps are great. You will enjoy it.
I haven't done anything like that but I've been dying to try. There's a bootcamp type get together a few days a week close by, it's held outside--they always switch it up and make it fun so I think I'll probably check it out soon.
