Okay, so I have been making this mixture for quite some time, and I think I have blogged it before, but I want to officially recognize how freaking good this stuff is by giving it it's own post, it's a mixture of almond butter and unsweetened apple butter, I make it quite often as a topping for lots of stuff, it's great with bananas, oats, cereal, and especially waffles, I also like to dip celery and carrots in it!
I don't have a name for it, but I guess for now I'll call it ABAB. I'm not saying I invented this or anything, because I'm sure it's been done, but I just wanted to bring it to light, because it's so amazingly good!
usually for a small batch, I just take one tbsp of each and mix it up in a ramekin, here is the finished product:
I guess you could mix it up in larger batches too, it's just equal parts of both.So breakfast this morning went like this:
nanner sammie with ABAB

corn flakes with huge juicy raisins, almonds, flax and US choc almond milk

and a cup of US apple sauce with blueberries

Yum!
Well, I'm off to the gym before heading with mom for a fun girls day and b-day shopping for my hubby. See you soon!!

One response to “bloggy world, meet ABAB”
What a creative spread! I'll definitely be trying that once the apple orchards open;)
