Lost Angel Mischief? Yes Please.

Yessss. The weekend is finally here, I thought it might never come!

Last night the husband and I had a little date. We stopped by Belk and finally got his birthday gift, he picked out a golf outfit, which he looked smashing in, I might add. And I picked up a new skin care system from Clinique that I am super excited about. I don't feel like I've been taking good care of my skin here lately, and it's been breaking out a little here and there, so I got the new 3 step acne kit to try, so far I love it, I used it last night and this morning

And as an added bonus, it's free gift time at Belk, so I also scored all of this, check out the cute bag! LOVES IT!

We had dinner at Ruby Tuesday, of course I had the salad bar, and I also had this:

The name sucked me in and I knew I had to try it, it's called Lost Angel Mischief Blend. I love red wine blends, and this was probably one of the top 5 I have had, I absolutely loved it, I have to find a bottle of it now! Also, I love how Ruby Tuesday is trying to get all upscale with the little wine carafes, how fun! I waited tables at RT during college, so their new upscale attitude is kind of hilarious to me because it was like redneck heaven when I worked there.

Anyway, moving on, we watched The Ugly Truth, it was pretty good, but not as funny as I thought it would be, but very entertaining and fun nonetheless.

And since Marble Slab was right across the street, we (actually I) just had to stop by and have this creamy delicious treat:

It's sweet cream with chocolate chips mixed in, I got two spoons, but the husband wasn't much help, as he's not the ice cream fiend I am, so I ended up eating most of it.

Breakfast this morning went like this:

Van's GF waffle topped with blueberries drizzled with a little Maple/Agave

Plain yogurt with vanilla protein powder stirred in, topped with more blueberries

a plum, because I am craving so much fruit these days! I don't know if my body knows summer is winding down, and is trying to get in as much fruit as humanly possible, but I've been eating it nonstop this week!

That's all I've got for now, I am headed off to the gym here in a few. Happy weekend!!

Good to know about "The Ugly Truth..." I was thinking about seeing it next week. Perhaps "Julie and Julia" would be a better option!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I'll have to keep an eye out for that wine...I love the red blends too! (oh, and I have a BOX of wine called "Angel Juice" in my fridge right now, lol! That's about as cheesy as the name can get, right?) Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Hey again! I'm right around the corner from you! Do you know where Smith Springs road is? It's a little at the end of Hermitage... more towards the Bell Road area?
