Breakfast this morning was a Van's GF waffle with ABAB, half a banana, and a teensy weensy drizzle of maple syrup, then I had a small bowl of yogurt mixed with a little vanilla protein powder and some blueberries, and the other half of the banana with more ABAB. Yum.

Oh, and almost forgot, I had this, (macaroon baby with AB) x2

Man, I was a hungry girl this morning. More than normal.

I then packed a lunch as I rushed out of the house LATE! I made a quick spinach salad with two of my heirloom roma tomatoes, garbonzos for protein, feta and a spoon of roasted red pepper hummus. I also took a plum, some grapes and two baby macaroons. I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty good. ;)

I came home fully planning on going to yoga and doing my typical workout, but I had a major headache and some yucky allergy stuff going on, not to mention I had TONS of stuff I needed to take care of at home, most importantly, a hungry hubby! And I think I did a complete overdose of sugar over the weekend and this morning, because by lunch time, I was feeling like absolute poo, and I was craving anything but something sweet, I could have killed a bag of tortilla chips or anything super salty. I am definitely going to make a conscious effort to cut way down on my sugar the rest of this week, because I feel sooo much better when I don't eat a lot of it.
I was starving when I got home, so I made what was meant to be a green monster, but, I think the Fitnessista refers to these as sludges, I put strawberries in so it turned a funky color! It was good though.

Aaaaanyway, I didn't want to totally miss my workout, so I suggested me and the husband do this:

OMG!! We almost died, but we did it. We have had the P90X DVDs for a while, and we finished it a long time ago. Let me tell you, these DVDs are not for the faint of heart, but they work. I really would like to start incorporating at least one of them into my weekly workout routine because they are butt kickers! I have been working my abs out and this was still killing me to do, it's like supersets x10.
So after that, I made dinner, for the husband, I made chicken legs in the skillet with Annie's BBQ sauce, green beans, and sweet potato fries. No pic, as he gobbled it up much too fast, I was thrilled that he loved the Annies BBQ sauce, it was all I could find that didn't contain HFCS.

And for me, half a sunshine burger — my last one in the box :( with some Annie's BBQ, some sweet potato fries and a little steamed spinach with goat cheese. Oh so good. and filling, and definitely satisfied the salty food craving.
During dinner we watched a new show called the Goode Family, it was pretty funny. I'm usually at the gym and miss all the TV, which is fine, but it was kinda fun to veg out in front of the TV for just one night. Now I'm watching Dating in the Dark, and I am NOT impressed. Reality television has gone way down hill. However, I'll still continue to watch my real Housewives on the treadmill, such a guilty pleasure.

Well, I'm off to catch up on a little work before hitting the sack, I'll leave you with a pic of my overweight, yet precious puppy, Ekko. She thinks she's people. LOL.
