Super Busy Sunday

Quick post this morning, as I am working to finish a website with a tight deadline.

Yesterday's workout was great, I did about 45 mins. of strength training, focusing on triceps, biceps and shoulders. I discovered preacher curls for the first time, loved them, def one of my new faves, my biceps are actually a little sore this morning, which is amazing since I work them all the time!

Then I had an hour long sweat sesh on the treadmill, I usually only do 30, but a whole hour felt really good. I caught up with the Real Housewives of Atlanta while doing so :)

When I got home, I replenished with this:

Not my fave, but I knew it was loaded with electrolytes which I needed.

I was absolutely starving, but I grabbed a shower first, then had this:

home grown tomato with tuna salad (albacore, plain yogurt and a squeeze of lemon juice) and a Hugh Jass salad with baby greens, home grown sweet peppers, baby heirloom tomatoes and avocado topped with Annie's balsamic.

You would think this would have filled me up. It didn't. So I then had a piece of brown rice bread with some ABAB. OMG, so good.

Still a little munchy before heading off to the store to do my grocery haul, so I had a container of unsweetened applesauce with some blueberries. I must have eaten a half a container of blueberries yesterday!

I also had my last two G&B's dark chocolate squares :(

We had a UFC fight night over here last night, so I pretty much sipped wine and snacked on tortilla chips and fruit instead of a proper dinner. Oops.

In between my deadline crunch and lunch with the inlaws after church today, I've got to find a way to use some of this abundance of home grown produce people keep giving us!!

I've got this huge bowl of tomatoes that need to be used today! I think I might turn these into tomato soup!!

And our friend Paul brought us these gorgeous zucchini and squash from his garden last night! I'll have to find something fun to do with these!

Breakfast this morning was this:

A slice of rice bread with almond butter and black currant preserves (I made a little AB&J sammie after I snapped the pic), 1/2 a banana with some ABAB, grapes and french press coffee with almond milk. Soo so good. I am stuffed!

Wowza, that ABAB looks phenomenal! Have you ever tried it with pumpkin butter? I gotta get my hands on some and start mixing :)

Your upper body work out sounds awesome! I LOVE working biceps. What are preacher curls??

How is the Atlanta Housewives? I haven't even watched any of the episodes since it's started up again!

LOVING your ABAB, btw!! Where did you find the unsweetened apple butter? I was actually looking for some for something else at whole foods on friday and didn't see any! Course, I could have missed it!

have a great rest of the day!

Those veggies are gorgeous! Have you tried Coconut Water? It's nature's sports drink, super high in potassium and electrolytes. I prefer mine freezing cold. Perfection!
